New pattern!

THIS PATTERN is inspired by the beautiful play of light in sequins and paillettes. It’s a design that’s all about joy and colour, and giant sequins!

Comprising a simple repeated drunkard’s path block, this pattern is a great warm-up to sewing curves.

Never sewn curves? These ones are surprisingly forgiving, and I’ve included some overage in the fabric requirements  to help de-stress your process.

The best thing is go slow. This design contains plenty of practice!

Take your time cutting and sewing, and be mindful that you are developing your own technique!

I’ll be posting more about this pattern soon, including the process of making the cover quilt, and some colour combinations to inspire you!

I hope you love creating this quilt and please, when posting your shimmery masterpiece tag @JoWrightMakes #SequinQuilt.

I simply can’t wait to see your sparkly creations!
